Project Overview:

International Bechtel Company Ltd is providing engineering and project management support to our customer for the development of a next-generation city on the Mediterranean coast. The Project will cover the development of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces, tourism amenities, and economic zones.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead the development of automation tools, templates, and workflows according to the project automation plan. You will customize applications and reports, review test plans and performance curves, and manage output data. Your recommendations will ensure applications comply with engineering work-process and that project requirements align with the availability of data.

This position is contingent upon project award and customer approvals.

Major Responsibilities:

• Acts as a Digital Delivery Workstream Manager and manages cross-functional automation teams providing the Engineering function with all EPC automation services on medium to large sized complex projects, or may be assigned responsibility for multiple smaller projects within a global business unit
• Participates in cross-functional engagement with Corporate and Global Business Units functional teams to support development of automation policies and procedures related to engineering automation
• Responsible for the global engineering automation initiatives and evaluation of new programs and processes
• Responsible for estimates for software development and maintenance activities
• Delivers automation to projects in conformance with Project Automation Plan
• Directs project automation assessments
• Directs the assignment and development activities of the programmers in support of BSAPs
• Ensures software development and documentation is adequate and compliant with functional and IS&T procedures
• Provides technical and administrative direction to several User Product Managers
• Provides guidance on development and maintenance digital delivery websites and online content

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Prepare, implement, and maintain the project Information Management (IM) strategy and plans, working collaboratively with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the Project Management Plan (PMP) for alignment with the project IM strategies and plans.
• Develop project Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) as part of contract flow-downs to delivery teams and ensure inclusion in procurement packages.
• Implement Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) and associated integrated work processes to support application exchange requirements.
• Coordinate with delivery team functions to develop IM use cases to support project delivery and reporting requirements.
• Devise training plans for systems, tools, and the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring data integrity of project documentation and records.
• Conduct regular assessments to review the implementation of the project IM plan and seek opportunities for improvement.
• Align processes and procedures with industry-wide IM standards and best practices, including ISO19650.
• Collaborate closely with functional PIIM team members, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and project stakeholders to integrate standards and best practices.
• Champion the configuration of the CDE as the single source of truth for all project content (shared and issued).
• Document lessons learned and implement improved workflows to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide application training for employees, draft and maintain user guides, and troubleshoot application issues.
• Conduct UAT testing of new tools and updates to existing tools to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Digitalize work processes by capturing, integrating, analyzing, and visualizing information for efficient automated workflows.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science with 15+ years of experience in delivering large complex AEC projects, including 7+ years of experience in implementing PMIS technologies like Content management systems (ACC/Aconex), ArcGIS, Unifier, Cost Management & reporting systems etc.
• Extensive experience preparing, implementing, and maintaining IM and innovation strategies and plans. Ideally in accordance with ISO 19650.
• Experience with implementing ‘right-sized’ IM and innovation solutions for client environments and requirements, ideally as a Delivery Partner or PMC as part of an integrated team
