We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

  • Influencing the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes
  • Project Financials, Resource management.
  • Work on alignment of data in all financial planning tools – GPDM, Pioneer
  • Managing and planning resources, responsibilities and schedules
  • Establishing effective t controls and procedures and quality assurance processes
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage overall resource forecasting and planning function
  • Work with related teams to identify resources including key competencies, resource allocation and phasing
  • Track the utilization of resources in line with line/team managers
  • Develop work plans and ensure clear deliverables in place and delivered
  • Ensure resource forecasts are accurate and complete
  • Implement financial controls and reporting
  • Develop benefit realization plan and coordinate reporting
  • Produce, review and approval of project deliverables and documentation in line with HSBC methodologies
  • Define process to update forecasts , actuals
  • Implement concise project reporting of decisions points, risks, issues, status and costs.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Reporting progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project or program leadership and committees (as appropriate) and making recommendations to influence decision making, in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization
  • Providing management to maintain a focus on how the project aligns to wider program objectives, where appropriate, and to the change portfolio across HSBC
  • Strong knowledge of project financial management
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Strong analytic and decision making abilities
  • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
  • Strong communication skills
  • Provide hands on direction, mentoring and coaching to those involved in the team
