POA (Power of Attorney) Admin

POSITION SUMMARY:

The POA (Power of Attorney) Admin plays a critical role in supporting the tax resolution process by ensuring that Power of Attorney (POA) and IRS Form 8821 documents are updated, processed, and submitted accurately and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with Logics CRM, and the ability to handle client interactions with professionalism. The POA Admin will collaborate closely with clients and tax professionals, providing updates on form status and addressing client concerns while ensuring forms are submitted promptly to the IRS to maintain progress for our tax pros and company.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Contact clients to address issues with incomplete, rejected, or outdated POA and IRS Form 8821 documents.
  • Edit and update forms in Logics CRM, ensuring accuracy and adherence to IRS requirements.
  • Track the status of submitted forms and follow up with clients to gather missing information when needed.
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and text to explain the importance of POA and 8821 forms and guide them through the completion process.
  • Handle basic client rebuttals with confidence and professionalism, emphasizing the necessity of these forms for progressing their tax resolution case.
  • Provide clear, step-by-step instructions for completing forms and answer client questions with clarity and patience.
  • Ensure completed forms are properly submitted to the IRS in a timely manner.
  • Monitor IRS processing timelines for POA and 8821 forms and provide updates to tax professionals regarding submission progress.
  • Maintain organized records of all form submissions and correspondence to ensure compliance and accessibility.

REQUIRMENTS:

  • Previous experience in client services, administrative support, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with IRS forms (POA and 8821) and tax resolution processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
