Podcast Video Editor

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Podcast Video Editor to produce high-quality video and audio podcast content. The role involves editing full-length podcast episodes and creating engaging short-form clips optimized for digital and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit full-length podcast video episodes with high production quality.
• Sync and enhance audio and video from single or multi-camera recordings.
• Remove errors, long pauses, filler words, and background noise.
• Add intros, outros, lower-thirds, captions, transitions, and branding elements.
• Create short highlight clips and reels for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, etc.
• Ensure all content meets platform-specific formatting and quality standards.
• Collaborate with hosts, producers, and marketing teams for content alignment.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality benchmarks.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1–3 years of experience in video editing (podcast video editing and social media video editing).
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of audio editing and sound enhancement.
• Experience with captions, motion graphics, and basic animations.
• Knowledge of social media trends and content optimization.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Film & TV Production, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or a related field (preferred).
• Candidates with relevant certifications or diplomas in video editing or multimedia will be an added advantage.
• Proven practical experience may be considered in place of formal education.
• Portfolio demonstrating podcast, talk-show, or digital video editing work is required.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with After Effects or similar motion graphics tools.
• Familiarity with YouTube SEO, thumbnails, and audience engagement techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
