The Police Department is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Police Clerk to support daily operations and provide excellent service to both department personnel and the public.

In this role, the Police Clerk will prepare, review, route, file, and distribute law enforcement and public safety reports and records in accordance with the Texas Public Information Act and Open Records requirements. This position also provides administrative and clerical support to multiple divisions within the Police Department.

The Police Clerk serves as a key point of contact for the public by greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel. This position also works closely with the Criminal Investigations Division (CID), assisting with case preparation and records management to support investigative efforts.

This role is an important part of the Police Department team, helping ensure that records are handled accurately and efficiently while supporting the department’s commitment to professional and responsive public service. This position may perform other duties as assigned.
