As a Communications Operator with the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), you will be part of a dedicated team that supports critical law enforcement operations. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position helps support law enforcement operations by receiving, relaying, and organizing important information for Troopers and the public. As a Communications Operator, you will perform the following duties: Call Handling: Receive emergency and non emergency calls and gather details needed for responseIncident Dispatch: Relay information to Troopers and coordinate assistance with municipal respondersRecord Management: Use computer systems to enter, update, and maintain incident informationPublic Assistance: Respond to administrative inquiries and provide information to station visitorsTraining Participation: Attend required communications training and assist in training new operatorsInterested in learning more? description.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per weekWork hours to be determined. Your schedule will include rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be
