About the Job: Supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of the Evidence and Property Unit in support of other departments, outside agencies, and the public. You will also provide highly responsible and complex technical support to higher level supervisory and/or management staff.
Three years of full-time responsible technical experience in a related field, preferably in a law enforcement setting, including one year of administrative and/or lead supervisory experience
Possess or obtain within three (3) months of hire, NCIC/CCIC certifications
Education and Experience Equivalency: One year of relevant work experience may be substituted for one year of required education (OR) one year of academic coursework specifically related to this position beyond the minimum requirement may be substituted for one year of required professional experience.
Experience working in an evidence unit or other criminal justice field, or related experience.
Pre-employment Requirements: The job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of an extensive background investigation, to include a polygraph examination, extensive background check, fingerprinting, criminal history check, and other pre-employment assessments. The background investigation process commonly takes 6-8 weeks to complete.
