Position purpose:
This position reports to the Mediation Administrator, and assists with work related to all programs within the Policy Development and Engagement unit which include, policy development, mediation, hiring, training, staff development, and outreach. This is a unique position that works on a variety of projects, from processing and responding to Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) requests, to assisting in the Division hiring process.
This position utilizes a variety of systems, such as Colorado Employee Data System (EDSys), CDLE’s personnel management system, Docusign, Labor Standards Claims System (LSCS) aka Salesforce, Zoom Enterprise, and Google Workspace, with a strong focus on Google Sheets and Google Docs.
This position is the point of contact for managers of these specialized programs to identify operational needs, organization and best practice strategies for process improvements or operational changes to increase productivity, as well as ad hoc projects assigned. This position is familiar with the daily operations of each of the programs they support; and they use judgment in determining the priority of needs for each area.
Duties
A. Program SupportThis position collects, sorts, and stores numerous data points for various Units within the Policy Development and Engagement Unit. This position mainly uses Google Sheets and Google Docs to collect, sort, and store this data. This position constantly reviews data storage documents for clarity and accuracy, utilizing software such as EDSys, Salesforce, and Identity Manager. This position responds to manager requests for the production of data, documents, or records in response to inquiries or public Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) requests submitted to the Division, ensuring personal identifying information (PII) is sanitized if required by law, policy, or practice, as well as anticipating what data might be helpful to make an informed decision in relevant programs. This position works with Division SMEs to respond to CORA requests submitted by various members of the public.
