Policy Manager – Secured products

Job Description:

  • To establish, implement, monitor, and modify all policies, risk acceptance criteria, verification requirements relating to credit / fraud risk for product segment to ensure the risk-reward balance is maintained through close monitoring of the portfolio (using both ground level feedback from collections and the market along with statistical methods for systematic portfolio analysis) and frequent interaction with the business unit to explore new target markets and product variants to grow product portfolio.
  • Develop, review, and update policies and procedures related to consumer secured & Autos products. Ensure policies align with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and organizational risk appetite
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for secured product portfolios & collateral management.
  • Establish risk mitigation strategies and ensure effective implementation.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and Oversee the monitoring of secured product portfolios & to identify emerging risks
  • Establish risk mitigation strategies and ensure effective implementation and Communicate policy updates and changes effectively across relevant departments.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure policy enforcement. Provide guidance and support on policy interpretation.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits related to secured product risk management. Implement corrective actions based on audit findings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks and recommend and implement improvements to policies and risk management practices. Manages credit risk in segment portfolio through each step of the credit process and recommends proactive measures in the underwriting standards, policies, and verification processes.
  • Responsible for renewal of all secured policy with accordance to consumer credit policy.


Knowledge & Skills

  • Education: Graduate / Preferably MBA
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Consumer Banking , preferably in credit / Risk management unit of consumer banking
