To establish, implement, monitor, and modify all policies, risk acceptance criteria, verification requirements relating to credit / fraud risk for product segment to ensure the risk-reward balance is maintained through close monitoring of the portfolio (using both ground level feedback from collections and the market along with statistical methods for systematic portfolio analysis) and frequent interaction with the business unit to explore new target markets and product variants to grow product portfolio.
Ensures adherence to Internal Risk Management Guidelines and External Regulatory Requirements by other units involved in credit processing and execution
Managing/reviewing changes in credit policies to keep up with the constant change in a very competitive market, while aligning the credit policy to overall bank strategy
Provides updates on portfolio performance at regular intervals.
Manages system parameters of all products within segment
Reviews and analyzes the portfolio performance through various MIS reports by setting up minimum standards to manage performance of individual credit transaction and entire portfolio
Manages credit risk in segment portfolio through each step of the credit process and recommends proactive measures in the underwriting standards, policies, and verification processes.

Experience:
5-7 years of experience in Consumer Banking , preferably in credit / Risk management unit of consumer banking
