We are currently seeking a dedicated Pool Attendant to join our team and ensure the highest standards of safety and hospitality at our swimming pool facilities.

Job Summary

The Pool Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and enjoyable pool environment. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies. You will oversee pool activities, enforce safety rules, assist guests, and ensure the pool area is well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to ensure guest safety and compliance with rules.
• Actively observe swimmers for signs of distress or unsafe behavior.
• Respond to emergencies with first aid, CPR, or by contacting emergency services.
• Enforce pool guidelines, including appropriate swim attire and safe conduct.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including deck, furniture, and surroundings.
• Check and adjust pool water quality (chlorine and pH levels).
• Ensure rescue equipment and life rings are in good condition and accessible.
• Greet guests warmly and assist with inquiries or requests.
• Provide towels, flotation devices, and other amenities.
• Educate guests on pool safety and etiquette.
• Set up poolside chairs, umbrellas, and equipment before opening.
• Secure and close the pool area at the end of the day.
• Record water chemical levels, maintenance activities, and incidents.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
• Assist with special events, swim lessons, and poolside activities.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain alert and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Knowledge of pool safety protocols and basic maintenance.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience in a pool or hospitality environment is an advantage.
