Pool Technician

Operate and maintain pool filtration, circulation, and heating systems

Conduct routine inspections of pumps, filters, strainers, valves, and dosing units

Perform water testing for pH, chlorine, and chemical levels and adjust dosing as required in coordination with the Water Quality Team

Carry out disinfection procedures including shock treatment and backwashing

Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment including motors, timers, and control panels

Monitor water temperature, clarity, and flow rates to ensure safe swimming conditions

Maintain accurate records of water testing, chemical usage, and maintenance activities

Coordinate with the Water Quality Team during compliance audits and inspections

Supervise and guide Pool Cleaners in daily cleaning routines and safety practices

Report major equipment faults or failures to the Principal Building Technician

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with UAE health and safety regulations

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns to minimize disruption

Qualifications & Experience

Technical certification in pool maintenance or mechanical systems preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in pool operations and equipment handling

Strong understanding of water chemistry and pool safety standards

Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and technical diagrams

Good communication and supervisory skills

Familiarity with CMMS systems and digital reporting tools is an advantage
