Port Captain - SP Jack Up Barges

Key Accountabilities :

• Support the offshore Jack up fleet bridge Officers and client with Marine related matters including but not limited to rig moves, positioning, location evaluations and logistic matters..
• Champion and mentor a strong industry leading safety culture.
• Ensure that any deficiencies that arise be immediately rectified and reported to Client as required.
• Responsible for all Barge certification to be current and up-dated as necessary.
• Assist technical department with coordination of 3rd party vendors for offshore works.
• Monitor and enforce compliance to Saudi Aramco Marine Operations Manual & Loss Prevention Program.
• Complete Quarterly vessel audits and participate in Saudi Aramco on hire surveys as required.
• Oversee all other necessary activities to enhance efficiency and safe operation of the jack up fleet.

Minimum Requirements:

• 4 years’ experience (sea services) as a Master on Self-Propelled Jack Up Barges (SPJU)
• COC/STWC
• University Marine/Maritime
• Seaman Book
• Maritime Experience
