Port Operations Specialist

AKSA, a company of Akkök Holding, was founded in 1968 in Yalova. Becoming the world’s largest producer of acrylic fiber over the years, Aksa today serves approximately 300 customers in over 50 countries across 5 continents. Having a capacity of 350.000 tons per year, Aksa supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles in many diverse areas.

We are looking for a Port Operations Specialist.

Qualities We Are Looking For;

• Graduates of relevant engineering or maritime departments of universities (Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime, etc.)

• Experienced in chemical storage and port operations

• Preferably experienced in chemical tanker/ship operations

• Proficient in MS Office applications

• Good command of English

• Prone to team work, strong communication and collaboration skills

Your main tasks are;

• Execution of chemical product acceptance, transfer, and shipment processes

• Planning and on-site implementation of ship unloading operations

• Management of chemical storage site operations

• Ensuring compliance with port operating regulations

• Performing all operations in accordance with relevant procedures and instructions

• Conducting on-site occupational health and safety (OHS) checks

• Monitoring and reporting chemical stock levels
