Job Description
The Maintenance Assistant/Groundskeeper reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the community. The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant/Groundskeeper are grounds, parking lot, and community area upkeep, work orders, and maintaining excellent resident relations through superior customer service. On call and weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities
· Maintain positive resident relations through superior service
· Participate in the daily operations of the property
· Cleanliness of the grounds, leasing office, and common community areas
· Work Order response
· The Turn and Make Ready process
· Adhering to company policy, state and federal safety and fair housing laws
· Hands on repair and upkeep
· Report any safety or maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
· Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
· Basic understanding of plumbing
· A valid driver’s license, good driving record and proof of insurance is required
· The ability to work independently with attention to detail
· Good interpersonal skills and a great attitude
· A passion to serve residents, parents, vendors, and colleagues
· Basic knowledge of lawn care
· Provide your own transportation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.13 - $17.25 per hour
