We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a sharp analytical mind, and enjoys working within a positive, collaborative, and fun office culture.

As a Portfolio Analyst, you will be a key contributor to our investment strategy, taking ownership of client portfolios and ensuring they are optimized for performance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses of portfolios and individual holdings. Recommend strategic changes to improve earnings, mitigate credit risk, and increase diversification.
  • Author, audit, and finalize trade letters to support trade execution and record-keeping.
  • Proactively monitor and track client cash positions to identify opportunities for capital deployment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for account updates and administrative modifications
  • Deliver timely and insightful updates regarding portfolio holdings, ensuring clients are fully informed of changes in their portfolio.
  • Manage the full cycle of client engagement by coordinating meeting invitations and maintaining a log of all touchpoints.
  • Perform ongoing swap analysis for client portfolios and process trade letters with high precision.
  • Run monthly and ad-hoc reports to provide transparency and insight into portfolio performance.
  • Participate in the creation of proposals for prospective clients, helping to showcase our value proposition.
  • Perform money manager analysis and evaluate financial statements to ensure high-quality selection within portfolios.
  • Manage client policy work and conduct regulation research to ensure all holdings and strategies remain compliant.
  • Actively monitor financial markets, keeping a pulse on both macroeconomic trends and micro-level news.
  • Take a proactive approach to the "how" of our work, working within current processes and creating new, improved processes for better efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Highly comfortable navigating complex spreadsheets and data sets.
  • A strong understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, etc.).
  • A solid understanding of AI tools or a genuine curiosity and willingness to learn how to incorporate them into your daily workflow.
  • Programming knowledge (Python, SQL, VBA, etc.) is a plus but not required.
  • Process-oriented, ensuring all tasks are tracked and completed without heavy oversight.
  • A genuine interest in financial markets and staying current with global economic shifts.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
  • Strong written communication skills to craft professional emails and interact with client requests.
  • A willingness to take ownership of projects and the ability to shift priorities when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in financial services or an educational background in finance.

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
