Your role

Are you skilled at turning market and portfolio data into clear, actionable recommendations? Do you enjoy executing trades, improving portfolio positioning, and ensuring every client meeting is backed by clean, accurate analytics?

We’re looking for a Portfolio Associate to:
  • prepare client reports and meeting materials, refreshing day-of as needed
  • recommend trades and asset allocation updates in advance of client meetings and implement trades once reviewed
  • execute investment and trading activity across portfolios, including support for alternative investments and structured products and required transaction paperwork (as applicable)
  • analyze and interpret portfolio performance and provide recommendations for change in partnership with the Financial Advisor and Investment Committee
  • perform business analytics and due diligence support to sustain the growth of the business

Your team

You’ll be working as part of Parham | Deidiker Family Wealth Advisors, based in Nashville, TN, within Wealth Management Americas. Our team supports ultra-high net worth individuals and families through comprehensive planning and disciplined portfolio management. As a Portfolio Associate, you’ll play a key role in meeting preparation, investment execution and trading, and ongoing portfolio and risk management support for the team.

Role purpose
A Portfolio Associate supports the team by preparing investment analysis, executing portfolio and trading activity, and partnering with the Investment Committee and Financial Advisors to implement disciplined, client-aligned portfolio recommendations.

Your expertise

  • Meeting prep, financial planning support, and coordination on insurance, annuities, and alternatives.
Business development
  • Participate in client and prospect events.
Service / Support and Account Set Up and Maintenance
  • Review service cases and process multiple times per week.
  • Review daily branch reports and alerts and process accordingly.
  • MTP set up and assistance/monitoring; input into FGA.
  • Provide Addepar information monthly.
  • Investment consulting support.
  • Lead team meeting rotation.
Appointment preparation and conducting
  • Prepare client reports and analysis for all client meetings; refresh all reports day-of as necessary.
  • Recommend trades and asset allocation updates for all tiers in advance of meetings.
  • Identify opportunities to move from brokerage and PMP to Access/HouseView and other more turnkey strategies.
  • Execute trades and update the asset allocation in meeting agendas, etc., after review.
  • Own follow-up recap, tasks, and actions following designated client meetings.
  • Take meeting notes as necessary.
Trading
  • Serve as backup trading support to the senior trader.
  • Input orders as part of meeting prep and meeting follow-up.
  • Handle paperwork and trading processes for annuities, insurance, and 529 activity as needed.
  • Double-check that all capital calls are funded and have gone out properly.
Portfolio management & planning
  • Conduct regular asset allocation reviews and make recommendations per schedule and as needed; rebalance after CIO review.
  • Create and maintain client groups on balance sheet and 360 views.
  • Make asset allocation recommendations as part of meeting prep and implement trades once reviewed.
  • Perform insurance and annuity analysis.
  • Mitigate and reduce investment and accounts violations.
  • Prepare quarterly statement recaps in partnership with the trading team and deliver to CIO.
  • Assist in preparing tax summaries.
  • Own alternative investment client workflow from CLRF to investment execution, tracking calls/distributions, and tax reporting.
  • Input data into financial planning tools and call out observations and recommendations.
  • Support institutional consulting needs and coordination.
  • Support portfolio management with due diligence evaluations on current and potential investments for the investment committee.
  • Perform business analytics to support growth of the business (business planning, identifying client opportunities, etc.).

Key deliverables
  • Client meeting materials: accurate, timely reports, analysis, and agendas refreshed as needed
  • Trade implementation: clean execution aligned with approved asset allocation updates and client constraints
  • Portfolio monitoring: asset allocation reviews, violation mitigation, statement recaps, and capital call oversight
  • Due diligence and analytics: investment committee support and business analytics to identify client opportunities

Your expertise
  • FINRA registration and licensing as required for the role (e.g., Series 7 and 66)
  • Insurance Licensure is a plus
  • Experience in portfolio analytics, trading and execution, and client meeting preparation in a wealth management environment
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working across multiple accounts, models, and operational workflows
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Analytical and logical problem-solver with strong Excel and portfolio reporting proficiency
