Portfolio Reconciliation Analyst - T2 (Contractual)

Job Description

Tech Mahindra is hiring Portfolio Reconciliation Analyst -T2 for pune location. The role focuses on portfolio reconciliation, ledger maintenance, and end-to-end accounting processes, including Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R) activities. The Analyst will be responsible for reconciling portfolio positions, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining effective record-keeping processes.

The ideal candidate should have experience in portfolio reconciliation, ledger management, and familiarity with O2C and R2R processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of portfolio positions, cash, and transactions between internal records and external custodians
• Maintain accurate ledgers for various portfolios, ensuring all data is up-to-date and aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure proper recording of transactions within internal systems to support financial reporting and compliance.
• Manage Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Create and manage reports for management, highlighting discrepancies, resolution efforts, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to streamline reconciliation and ledger activities.
• Ensure that all reconciliation activities adhere to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in portfolio reconciliation.
• Experience in portfolio reconciliation,O2C and ledger management is mandatory.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ensure all data is reconciled and recorded accurately.
• Quickly identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Strong experience in record keeping and financial reporting.

Eligibility Criteria

• BCOM (Bachelor of Commerce) degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or economics is mandatory.
• Immediate joiners only – must be available to join on 1st Oct 2025.
• Candidates must be located in Pune or willing to relocate at their own expense.
• 1-4 years of experience in portfolio reconciliation, ledger management, and O2C/R2R processes in a financial services or accounting environment.
• Able to work efficintly with these timings : 1.30pm - 10.30pm
