Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing and managing financial activities within the company, including financial reporting, accounting procedures, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, organizational skills, and experience in managing complex financial data.
Responsibilities:
- Be in-charge of overall accounts of the company
- Core Accounts work using Tally, Zoho & other tools.
- Streamline various accounting functions and practices
- Be in-charge of all necessary compliance with CA’s help
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger to ensure accurate financial records.
- Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper accounting of financial transactions.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements during the closing process.
- Review tax filings and ensure timely payment of taxes.
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely processing of payments and collections.
- Review invoices and ensure proper documentation for approval.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance in day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
- Train and mentor staff on accounting procedures and systems.
- Recommend improvements to accounting processes and controls to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure the use of appropriate accounting software and systems to streamline tasks.
- Ensure error-free billing to the customers
- Account reconciliation
- Maintaining financial records
- Establish cost accounting practices for various business activities
- Cash flow management, projections
- Preparing financial reports, MIS
- Bank loan formalities & related documentation support
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Monthly, quarterly, annual closing activities
- Assist in preparation of working for timely closure of Audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification
- Qualified or Semi-qualified CA preferred but not mandatory
- More than 3-5 years of experience in corporate accounting
Skills:
- Ability to work independently, with self-planning and leadership skills for planning and execution of necessary tasks and compliance in timely basis.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent in ENGLISH communication (verbal / written)

Working Conditions:
- Occasional overtime may be required, especially during the closing period.

Pay: ₹14,855.74 - ₹45,721.30 per month
