Job Title: POS/IT Support Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive POS/IT Support Executive to join our growing team in Oman. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience supporting Point of Sale (POS) systems or providing general IT support. This role requires both onsite and remote assistance to ensure smooth operations at client sites, primarily in the retail and F&B sectors. Fluency in Malayalam and Hindi is essential to effectively support our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot POS systems (hardware and software) for retail and F&B clients.
  • Provide prompt remote and onsite technical support to resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot POS peripherals such as printers, barcode scanners, and network-related problems.
  • Guide clients on POS software usage, updates, and basic training.
  • Maintain accurate logs of support tickets and resolutions in the internal helpdesk system.
  • Collaborate with the product and technical teams for issue escalation and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and performance checks on deployed POS systems.
  • Offer basic IT support (e.g., software installations, email setup, Windows troubleshooting).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in POS support or IT helpdesk roles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with POS hardware (thermal printers, scanners, cash drawers, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of LAN/Wi-Fi network configurations.
  • Proficient in English
  • Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
  • Valid Omani driving license is mandatory with a car
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
