The Opportunity

As a third-party recruitment partner, we are seeking a versatile and technically sound Junior Laravel / PHP & WordPress Developer. This role is ideal for a proactive developer who enjoys a mix of custom web application development and CMS management. You will have the opportunity to own the deployment process, integrate modern API services, and work within a fast-paced environment where your solutions directly impact large-scale event operations.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Web Development: Demonstrate a strong command over Laravel, PHP, and WordPress to build, maintain, and scale digital platforms.
• Database Management: Utilize MySQL (or similar technologies) to design and optimize efficient database structures.
• API & Cloud Integration: Implement third-party services and API integrations, including AWS S3, Cloudinary, and other cloud-based storage or media solutions.
• DevOps & Deployment: Manage hosting and server environments with the ability to deploy projects independently from staging to production.
• Version Control: Maintain robust workflows using GitHub/GitLab, including repository setup, branching strategies, and collaborative code reviews.
• AI & Productivity: Leverage modern AI tools and productivity-enhancing technologies to optimize the development lifecycle.
• Full-Cycle Development: Translate project requirements into functional features, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Creative Support: Apply basic graphic/design understanding to handle simple creatives and visual assets within web projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: Prior 1-2 years experience in an agency, startup, or event-tech environment is highly preferred.
• Technical Mindset: A solution-oriented thinker who can work independently and adapt quickly to shifting project priorities.
• Ownership: A high sense of responsibility and the ability to meet deadlines under the pressure of live event cycles.
• Passion: A genuine drive for learning and staying updated with the latest backend and frontend technologies.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
