The vacancy is for a postdoctoral research associate to join a research group working on Chlamydia pathogenesis. The person will investigate intercellular communication between infected epithelial cells and various neighboring cell types to understand how pathogen infection positively or negatively influence infection dissemination.

Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or related scientific fields
Expertise in working with C. trachomatis or other genetically intractable obligate intracellular bacterial pathogens, immune signaling, and transcriptomic analyses of host-pathogen interaction.
