The NYU Nanolab at New York University Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Associate to work in quantum information science and engineering, with a focus on superconducting and superconductor–semiconductor hybrid quantum devices.

Responsibilities
Candidates will be responsible for conducting experimental research in superconducting quantum hardware and quantum materials, contributing to sponsored research projects in quantum information science and engineering. Responsibilities include nanofabrication, materials synthesis, cryogenic transport and microwave characterization of quantum devices, data analysis, and dissemination of results through publications and presentations.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated background in experimental quantum materials, superconductivity, or semiconductor device physics, as evidenced by a strong publication record. Previous experience in superconducting devices, cryogenic measurements, or microwave characterization is necessary.
The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to one or more of the following research directions:
1. Superconductor–semiconductor hybrid quantum devices
2. Superconducting quantum circuits
Salary range
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $65,000 to $70,000 depending on the candidate’s experience and qualification.
