Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Physics (Classes XI & XII)

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Physics to teach Classes XI & XII. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons as per the CBSE curriculum, conducting practical sessions, and preparing students for board and competitive examinations such as JEE/NEET.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Physics to senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII) following the CBSE curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver interactive and concept-based lessons covering mechanics, electricity, magnetism, optics, and modern physics.
  • Conduct and supervise laboratory experiments; ensure safety and proper use of lab equipment.
  • Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and assessments to monitor and evaluate student performance.
  • Provide extra guidance to students for board and competitive exam preparation.
  • Use smart classroom tools, simulations, and other technology to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry and critical thinking.

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification:
  • M.Sc. in Physics / Applied Physics / Electronics / Nuclear Physics from a recognized university.
  • B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – mandatory for CBSE teaching positions.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated senior secondary school (preferred).
  • Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills may also apply.

  • Strong conceptual understanding of Physics.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to use technology for effective teaching and learning.
  • Passion for mentoring and inspiring students.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CTET / TET qualified.
  • Experience coaching students for competitive exams (JEE/NEET).
  • Familiarity with modern teaching pedagogies like STEM or inquiry-based learning.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
