About the Role

DOPE Marketing is looking for experienced Postcard Designers to join our in-house creative team in Eagan, MN.

In this role, you’ll work directly with clients and account managers to design high-converting postcards, mailers, and print campaigns that reflect our clients’ brands and the marketing strategies we recommend.

We’re seeking designers who understand direct-response design, print layout, and marketing-driven composition — people who can take direction, collaborate closely, and deliver beautiful, conversion-focused designs under deadlines.

This is an in-office position, and we’re looking to add two to three designers to our growing creative team.

What You’ll Do

• Design custom postcards, mailers, and print assets based on client campaigns and strategy.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and clients to ensure creative aligns with goals and brand standards.
• Work with the Creative Director to refine layouts, headlines, and visual hierarchy for performance.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with quick turnaround times.
• Ensure print-ready file accuracy, proper bleed setup, and quality control prior to production.
• Incorporate data-driven feedback to improve creative performance and conversion rates.
• Maintain consistency across all creative deliverables and templates.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience (print and direct mail strongly preferred)
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, and marketing design principles
• Experience designing for print, direct mail, or marketing campaigns
• Exceptional attention to detail and file preparation standards for print production
• Excellent communication skills — ability to take feedback from clients and account managers
• Fast, reliable, and organized — able to balance creativity with deadlines
• Team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a collaborative environment

The Hiring Process

As part of the application process, candidates will complete a design test to showcase their ability to create postcards that reflect DOPE’s creative standards and strategy-driven approach.
This test helps us assess design speed, layout sensibility, and client-readiness.
