The Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University brings together the top scientific minds, intent on solving humanity’s toughest challenges through robotics. The Robotics Institute is currently searching for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity if you thrive in an exciting and challenging environment.
Core responsibilities include:
Conducting cutting-edge research in the field of computer graphics, human-computer interaction, computer vision, and machine learning.
Conducting comprehensive literature reviews in related areas, including deep generative models, image and video synthesis, and computer graphics, to identify existing research, methodologies, and advancements.
Designing and developing innovative algorithms, models, and techniques for solving complex problems in computer graphics, computer vision, and machine learning.
Providing guidance and mentorship to undergraduate and graduate student researchers and team members, fostering a collaborative and intellectually stimulating research environment.
Other duties as assigned.
