Power BI Analyst

About the Role

We are a growing UK-based accountancy firm seeking a skilled and proactive Power BI Analyst to join our team in our office in Rawalpindi. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data end-to-end, from integration and structuring through to building insightful dashboards that support business decision-making.

You will play a key role in shaping how data flows across our systems, ensuring it is accurately captured in Azure SQL and transformed into meaningful, actionable insights through Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Work with Azure SQL databases to extract, transform, and model data for reporting
• Understand and manage data pipelines from multiple sources including APIs, Zapier, and Logic Apps
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define, develop, and track KPIs
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models and visualisations
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs
• Optimise report performance and improve existing dashboards
• Support ongoing development of our data infrastructure, including Azure-based solutions and containerised environments
• Document processes, data structures, and reporting logic for internal use

Key Requirements

• Strong experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, report building)
• Solid understanding of SQL and working with relational databases (preferably Azure SQL)
• Experience with data integration tools such as Zapier, APIs, or Logic Apps
• Good understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline design
• Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Experience with Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Blob Storage)
• Exposure to containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Understanding of automation workflows and system integrations
• Previous experience in an accountancy or professional services environment

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
