VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India.

We are currently looking for a Power BI Consultant for our UAE operations.

Skills & Experience Required

• 4+ years of experience
• Proficient in designing and building complex reports and dashboards using filters (Slicers) and drill down reports in Power BI Desktop.
• Responsible for developing and building reports/dashboards and deploying them into services.
• Experience in creating App Workspaces and Content packs to share insights in Microsoft Power BI Desktop.
• Experience of applying security permissions for reports/dashboards by assigning roles.
• Worked on automating data refresh and alerts through the data gateway in Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience in data modeling in Power BI.
• Experience in developing Power BI metrics and custom measures using Power BI DAX programming language.
• Experience in REST/SOAP based OData queries from online data sources (Dynamics CRM, Oracle Eloqua, Google Analytics, etc.).
• Experience connecting to databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL server.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Development of various ETL routines in SSIS which include Excel and relational databases as data sources.
• Expertise in SQL Server 2008/2012 database development.
• Development of matrix/tabular reports in SSRS using relational/OLAP databases.
