Power BI Developer/Data Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Specialist / Data Analyst to transform raw data into meaningful insights that support decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization, and hands-on experience with Power BI, along with the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
• Gather requirements from business teams and translate them into effective data models and visualizations.
• Connect, import, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (databases, ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
• Create and optimize DAX queries and measures for accurate reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across reports and dashboards.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights for business improvement.
• Automate reporting processes and develop self-service BI solutions for end-users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Sales, HR, etc.) to deliver data-driven insights.
• Stay updated on best practices, new features, and emerging trends in Power BI and data analytics.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Certification in Power BI is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or BI Specialist with strong focus on Power BI.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization).
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes is an advantage.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to present insights to stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Minimum 5-8 Yrs of experience is required.
• Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure Data Services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
