Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Power BI Expert to lead our data visualization and reporting initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our data and decision-making by designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards. A critical component of this position is a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 data extraction, as you will be directly linking Power BI to D365 to visualize complex business data.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and deploy highly interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
- Connect Power BI to Microsoft Dynamics 365 data sources, managing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Manage API integrations to seamlessly extract and feed data from/into other critical business systems beyond D365.
- Develop robust data models and utilize DAX and Power Query to create complex calculations and measures.
- Implement robust systems and processes to ensure ongoing data validity, including the automated, proactive identification of data anomalies.
- Automate report distribution workflows to guarantee stakeholders consistently receive timely and relevant insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reports accurately reflect operational workflows, managing and tracking tasks via Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Optimize dashboard performance and ensure overall data security and scheduled refresh


Qualifications & Requirements

- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role focusing on business intelligence.
- Official Microsoft Power BI certifications are highly preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate / PL-300).
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 data extraction is a must.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and validation, along with DAX and Power Query.
- Hands-on experience with API management, automated report scheduling, and setting up proactive data validation alerts.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Jira for issue tracking and project collaboration. Ability to work independently to source data, build models, and deliver finalized reports.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
