The
Power Engineer
is responsible for maintaining and optimizing electrical and power systems supporting critical facilities and data center environments. This includes UPS systems, battery monitoring, PDUs, electrical panels, generators, switchgear, and low-current power systems such as access control, CCTV, and fire alarm power supplies. The role ensures reliable, continuous, and safe power delivery across all critical infrastructure systems.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support UPS systems, batteries, generators, switchgear, PDUs, and electrical distribution systems.

Monitor power quality, system performance, and electrical loads within critical facilities and data centers.

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of electrical and power systems.

Support low-current power systems including CCTV, access control, and fire alarm power infrastructure.

Ensure continuous power availability and redundancy for critical operations.

Coordinate with facilities, IT, and vendors for maintenance and system upgrades.

Ensure compliance with electrical, safety, and operational standards.

Maintain technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records.
Qualifications

Experience in electrical engineering, power systems, or critical facility operations.

Hands-on experience with UPS systems, generators, PDUs, batteries, and electrical distribution systems.

Knowledge of data center electrical infrastructure and critical power environments.

Familiarity with low-current systems power support including CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.

Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.

Understanding of electrical safety standards and power redundancy concepts.
