Job Overview

Assago Industries Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Boiler & Turbine Operations Manager with strong expertise in grain-based distillery operations, particularly involving travelling grate-type boilers and back-pressure turbines. The ideal candidate will oversee smooth plant operations, ensure safety compliance, and maintain optimal performance of boiler and turbine systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day operations of the travelling grate boiler and back-pressure turbine systems.

* Ensure efficient steam generation, power production, and energy utilization across the plant.

* Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize boiler and turbine performance to meet production targets.

* Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all related equipment.

* Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.

* Lead and guide the operations team, providing technical support and training.

* Maintain records, logbooks, and operational reports for audits and internal review.

* Coordinate with production, maintenance, and utility teams for smooth plant functioning.

Required Qualifications & Experience

* BOE certifications.

* Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

* 10–15 years of relevant experience in a grain-based distillery is mandatory.

* Hands-on experience with:

Travelling grate-type boilers

Back-pressure turbines

Strong knowledge of utility systems, energy management, and statutory guidelines.

Ability to lead operational teams and handle shift operations.
