Power Washer

Job Summary

Duties

• Operate high-pressure washers safely and efficiently on diverse surfaces such as building exteriors, sidewalks, decks, vehicles, and machinery
• Prepare work sites by setting up hoses, nozzles, safety barriers, and protective gear before beginning cleaning tasks
• Assess surfaces to determine appropriate cleaning methods and solutions for optimal results without causing damage
• Remove dirt, grease, mold, mildew, graffiti, and other stubborn stains using environmentally friendly cleaning agents when necessary
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and perform touch-ups as needed
• Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, cleaning nozzles, hoses, pumps, and reporting any repairs needed
• Follow all safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during operation and transportation of equipment

Requirements

• Proven experience operating pressure washing equipment or similar tools preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy hoses or equipment for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety procedures at all times
• Good communication skills to understand project requirements and collaborate effectively with team members
• Ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining a proactive approach to completing tasks efficiently
• Valid driver’s license preferred for transporting equipment between job sites; reliable transportation required
• Willingness to learn proper handling of cleaning chemicals and safety measures associated with power washing
