PowerBI Developer

We are looking for a Power BI Developer to join our team and help us build, optimize, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that bring clarity and insight to our data. This is a hands-on role for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear, visual dashboards.

You will play a key role in shaping how data is used across the organization, ensuring stakeholders have timely and accurate information to make decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports for various departments.
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (e.g. Excel, databases, SharePoint, Google Sheets, internal tools).
• Collaborate with business teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
• Build clear, user-friendly dashboards with well-structured data models behind them.
• Optimize dashboards for performance, readability, and ease of maintenance.
• Manage access permissions and security settings for dashboards.
• Provide basic training to teams on how to use and interpret dashboards.
• Support periodic data updates and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Requirements:

• 1–4 years of hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and Power Query (M language).
• Ability to clean, structure, and transform raw data into usable formats.
• Solid understanding of visualization best practices and dashboard design principles.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Google Sheets, SQL, or APIs is a plus.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in the UAE and available for on-site collaboration as needed.
