Job Description

The Production Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and improving the Production Planning control within

our fasteners manufacturing operations. This role involves developing and

implementing Production Quantity and collaborating with Relevant teams to ensure timely production & Dispatch. The Production Engineer will run the plant >90% Efficiency.

Jobs Responsibilities :

1. Production Planning & Control

• Develop Monthly-Weekly-Daily production schedules using Excel ( Google Sheets automation) & Erp

• Ensure 90% on-time delivery to our Showroom through real-time monitoring o f manpower,

machines, and materials

• Coordinate with SCM Team for just-in-time material issuance (Maintain reorder level)

• Machine & Operator Output vs Plan 100% monitoring sheet

• Analysis hourly Machine breakdown region & suggestion reduce breakdown time

*• Maintain cost o f Labours o f each depart as per industry target

• Co-ordination with other departments like Job Work, Daily Sorting, Oiling.

• Maintain QC Control (below 100 PPM).

2. Quality & Process Improvement

• Implement 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Six Sigma to reduce in-house rejections (≤0.1% target)(100 PPM)

• Conduct root cause analysis using Google sheets defect detection systems

• Maintain SOPs and 4M change management protocols

3. Equipment & Maintenance

• Reduce machine downtime to ≤10% via predictive maintenance

• Optimize changeover time Team Leadership

Trained Operators on safety, 5S, and Kaizen

• Resolve labor shortage and maintain shop floor discipline

• Conduct monthly skill development sessions & Promoted b y test & submit Data

• Proper utilization of all Labour as per assigned plan

• Control minimum OT. expenses

5 . Technology Integration

• Implement Google Sheets dashboards with live machine data feeds

6. Reporting

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Diploma/B-Tech (Mechanical)

Experience: 5-10 years i n fasteners manufacturing

Technical Skills: (Advance Excel/Google sheet with Pivot Table, Vlookup, Sum & If formula)

Soft Skills: Problem-solving, team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, Coordination with other

departments, Expended view, Unlimited thoughts
