Job Purpose

To plan, coordinate, and control production activities to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of footballs in accordance with customer orders, quality standards, and capacity availability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales orders and delivery schedules.
  • Plan production across departments including lamination, cutting, printing, stitching, bladder insertion, winding, testing, and packing.
  • Allocate work orders to different production lines, contractors, and stitching centers.
  • Balance capacity, manpower, and machine availability.

2. Production Control

  • Monitor production progress against plan and take corrective actions in case of delays.
  • Track WIP (Work in Progress) at each stage of football manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with production supervisors to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Ensure timely completion of orders as per customer shipment schedules.

3. Material Planning & Coordination

  • Coordinate with Store, Procurement, and Import Departments to ensure availability of raw materials such as:
  • PU/PVC sheets
  • Bladders
  • Threads
  • Inks
  • Packing materials
  • Monitor material consumption and report shortages or excess usage.
  • Assist in minimizing material wastage and production losses.

4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain production records, planning sheets, and dispatch schedules.
  • Prepare daily production reports, efficiency reports, and order-wise status reports.
  • Update ERP / Excel-based PPC systems regularly.
  • Share production status with sales, export, and management teams.

5. Coordination with Quality & Compliance

  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure production meets required standards (FIFA, customer specs).
  • Support audit requirements and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure rework and rejection data is incorporated into revised planning.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance productivity and on-time delivery.
  • Support implementation of lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–4 years of experience in PPC / Production Planning, preferably in football or sports goods industry.
  • Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills may be considered.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding offootball manufacturing processes.
  • Production planning and scheduling skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • PPC: 2 years (Preferred)
