PPF and Tinting Installer

As a PPF and Tinting Installer, you will be responsible for applying paint protection film and window tinting to vehicles. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality installations. Your work will enhance the aesthetics of vehicles, protect paint surfaces, and provide privacy and UV protection through window tinting.

Responsibilities:

Paint Protection Film Installation:Inspect vehicles to assess the areas that require paint protection.
Precisely cut and apply paint protection film to vulnerable areas, such as hoods, bumpers, and side mirrors.

Window Tinting:Consult with customers to understand their preferences and legal requirements for window tinting.
Measure and cut tinting film to fit windows accurately and professionally.
Apply tinting film to vehicle windows, ensuring a smooth and even finish.

Surface Preparation:Thoroughly clean and prepare vehicle surfaces before applying PPF or tinting to ensure proper adhesion.
Remove any debris or contaminants that may affect the quality of the installation.

Quality Control:Inspect completed installations to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Address any imperfections or issues promptly and professionally.

Customer Interaction:Interact with customers to explain the PPF and tinting process, answer questions, and provide recommendations.
Provide information on care and maintenance of PPF and tinting installations.

Equipment Maintenance:Clean and maintain installation tools and equipment, including cutting tools and heat guns.
Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor for prompt resolution.

Documentation:Maintain accurate records of installations, including details of PPF patterns used, tinting specifications, and customer preferences.
Provide documentation and instructions to customers for care and warranty information.

Safety Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Properly handle and dispose of materials in accordance with regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PPF and tinting installer, preferably in an automotive setting.
• Knowledge of different PPF patterns, films, and tinting options.
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, especially in customer interactions.
• Familiarity with legal regulations regarding window tinting in the applicable region.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform detailed work.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workflow.
• Certification or training in PPF and tinting installation is a plus.
