Eligibility and Academic Requirements

For the post of Lecturer, a minimum of 2nd Division in Masters Degree / BS must be used. The candidate for the post of Lecturer through PPSC is tested in 3 ways and ultimately recommended on the idea of a mixture of the three. The methods are as follows:

• BA / Bsc (14 Year Education) 11
• MA / Msc (16 Year Education) 17
• BA / Bsc / BS - Hons 28
• Mphil 02
• PhD 03

In both cases there's a complete of 40 marks. These marks are given to you supported the share you get. Candidates usually score between 30 and 36. There's a test of 100 marks which is later halved i.e. the marks obtained from 50 marks are counted rather than 100. For instance if you've got 60 marks out of 100 within the test then out of your 50 marks there'll be 30 counts. The test consists of 100 MCQs (80 of the article and 20 of the overall Knowledge etc.). One number is given for an accurate answer while 0.25 marks are given for a wrong answer.

Interview Process

You are involved in an interview supported by your performance within the test. 5 times more candidates are involved interview than the number of seats in a piece of writing. Suppose if there are 80 seats in Physics then the above 400 = (80 5) candidates are going to be involved interview supported by the test result. The ultimate candidate's mark will be this year's closing merit.

The interview is numbered 100. It's a minimum of three and a maximum of 4 people, including a PPSC representative, two related subjects and a psychologist. Sometimes a psychologist doesn't.

Question Asked at Final Interview of PPSC Lectureship (Lecturer)

The PPSC representative would ask you personal questions. The primary question would be Introduction Yourself during which you'd need to state your name, area, education and academic institution etc. you ought to be ready to mention yourself for a minimum of 2 minutes. He may ask another question from your introduction. The 2 people associated with your subject would ask you a minimum of three questions. The psychologist will ask you public knowledge or personal questions. You'll also be asked about the history of your district and famous objects or places. Total Marks Calculation

Thus, Academic Marks 40 + Test Marks 50 + Interview Marks 100 + claimed Marks 10 would make a complete of 200 marks of which the candidate is chosen on the idea of merit. There are usually four to 5 separate panel interviews each day. You'll be assigned to any of those panels. Higher education which has 2 marks of M.Phil and three marks of Ph.D but these aren't given in every post. The post instruction would say whether these numbers are going to be given to you or not.
