Position Purpose
The KSA PR & Events Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing the SEPHORA MIDDLE EAST PR strategy in KSA – Sephora’s fastest growing market and a strategic, prominent region.
Build relations with key influencers and KOLs and establish new partnerships that are relevant for the brand in the local Saudi market. She/he will also be responsible for liaising with third party partners to execute plans, events, and activities in KSA in line with the brand DNA.
Key Accountabilities
PR ACTIVITIES:

Overseeing the implementation of PR campaigns / strategy in KSA and developing key commercial relationships in KSA

Analysis and tracking of PR campaigns and reporting results to PR & Events Director

General administration including management of the KSA press budget in liaison with the PR & Events Director and regional team

Maintain a keen understanding of trends, the latest PR/social media advancements and relevant campaigns and make appropriate recommendations regarding PR communication strategy surrounding them

Ensuring all communication fits the Sephora Middle East brand image and relays the appropriate message

Collaborate with the Pro team in KSA to secure relevant PR opportunities for them with influencers and media in alignment with the business priorities

Identify key moments relevant to the market to talk about the brand
EVENTS MANAGEMENT

Liaise with event agency partners to execute plans and activities for Sephora Middle East KSA events in line with the brand DNA

Assess and identify key opportunities for sponsorships and other partnerships and manage relations with third parties
INFLUENCER MARKETING

Leverage existing influencer and talent relationships and cultivate new contacts

Identify, establish and manage on-going influencer programs

Build strong relationships with social influencers through seeding programs and regular communication

Research and identify key influencers, talents and KSA based media in designated verticals

Secure and negotiate earned placements including reviews, news items, giveaways, video segments, etc. in alignment with the business priorities

Tracking company and campaign mentions with influencers and distributing internally.

Work on purpose led activations and create meaningful partnerships and activations.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5+ years’ experience of PR/Events either agency or client side. Managerial experience preferred.

Proven experience in coordinating and managing effective PR campaigns through various channels

Experience necessary in a media, beauty, or retail environment (knowledge of beauty sector would be a plus)
