PR & Strategic Partnerships Manager

TIMROOM, a Miami-based luxury interior design studio, is seeking a proactive and well-connected PR & Strategic Partnerships Manager to develop the personal brand and public presence of its Founder and Principal Designer.

The primary focus of this role is to create meaningful collaborations, build strategic relationships, secure media and event opportunities, and grow the designer’s visibility and targeted Instagram audience through partnerships and public-facing activities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure collaborations with luxury brands, developers, architects, real estate professionals, hotels, restaurants, galleries, influencers, and other relevant partners.
  • Develop creative collaboration concepts that generate visibility, credibility, and targeted audience growth.
  • Conduct outreach, pitch partnership ideas, negotiate terms, and manage collaborations from introduction through execution.
  • Build relationships with journalists, editors, event organizers, industry professionals, and local opinion leaders.
  • Secure interviews, features, speaking opportunities, podcast appearances, and participation in relevant events.
  • Identify important Miami events and networking opportunities and coordinate the designer’s participation.
  • Represent the designer and TIMROOM professionally at selected meetings and events.
  • Work with the existing SMM manager to maximize the reach and impact of collaborations.
  • Maintain a structured pipeline of contacts, pitches, follow-ups, confirmed opportunities, and results.
  • Develop and execute a practical 90-day PR and partnerships plan.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in public relations, strategic partnerships, influencer relations, brand partnerships, or personal brand development.
  • Based in Miami or able to attend local events and meetings regularly.
  • Existing network within Miami’s luxury, design, real estate, hospitality, art, media, or lifestyle industries is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience securing collaborations, media coverage, partnerships, or public appearances.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong outreach, relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly proactive, organized, resourceful, and comfortable working independently.
  • Clear understanding of Instagram growth through collaborations and partnerships.
  • Experience promoting founders, designers, executives, or other public-facing professionals is preferred.

This Role Is Not

  • A daily social media posting position.
  • A content creator or graphic designer position.
  • A traditional administrative marketing coordinator role.
  • A role focused on paid follower growth or vanity metrics.

Success in This Role Will Be Measured By

  • Quality partnerships and collaborations secured.
  • Relevant media placements, interviews, and public appearances.
  • Strategic relationships developed in Miami.
  • Growth of a relevant and engaged audience.
  • Consistent pipeline of partnership and PR opportunities.
  • Successful execution of agreed monthly and quarterly initiatives.

Compensation

Competitive base compensation plus performance-based incentives. Compensation will depend on experience, professional network, and demonstrated results.
