We are looking for a "Accounting & Operations Manager - ACCA - UK"

Timings: 01 PM - 10 PM

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly accomplished and versatile Accounting & Operations Manager to oversee VAT compliance, annual accounts, tax returns, and operational activities. This is ideal for an ACCA affiliate with a strong background in financial management, expertise in IFRS, and proficiency in accounting software. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing group-level accounts, providing client support, and ensuring seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and submission of client tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide day-to-day client support by responding to emails and advising on accounting and tax matters.
• Maintain and update clients on the status of their accounts and tax returns.
• Prepare detailed weekly business performance reports for the CEO, offering insights into key financial and operational metrics.
• Develop and maintain master Excel files to optimise organisational processes.
• Assist the COO with operational tasks and special projects.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support the organisation’s objectives.

Requirements

• ACCA affiliate with proven expertise in financial management and IFRS.
• Proficiency in Xero, VT Software, and Excel (including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables).
• Strong knowledge of UK VAT regulations and tax compliance processes.
• Ability to prepare accurate year-end accounts and deliver clear financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects efficiently.
