Practice Head – IT Procurement Channel Partnership

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Practice Head to drive sales and growth through MSP partnerships, supplier networks, and procurement-led ecosystems. This is a strategic business leadership role where you will build, position, and scale our Team-as-a-Service offering for global clients, often through MSP programs or direct vendor frameworks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of SaaS (Team-as-a-Service) operating models, a proven record of engaging with MSPs and procurement firms, and experience in converting vendor relationships into long-term revenue channels. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role focused on sales, ecosystem alignment, and capability expansion.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Growth & Revenue Ownership

  • Drive sales and account growth for SaaS models across key verticals (IT, engineering, digital, analytics, etc.)
  • Own the revenue, margin, and pipeline targets for this line of business.
  • Develop GTM strategy and build partnerships with MSPs, VMS platforms (e.g., SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Workday VNDLY), and procurement-led channels.

MSP_ & Supplier Ecosystem Engagement_

  • Establish and deepen relationships with leading MSPs (e.g., Allegis, Pontoon, Magnit, Tapfin, etc.)
  • Work with procurement teams in client organizations to onboard as a preferred or tiered

supplier.

  • Navigate vendor compliance, documentation, and onboarding processes aligned with VMS protocols.

Solutioning_ & Delivery Oversight_

  • Package and position dedicated teams tailored to client use cases: from 2-person pods to 20+ FTE teams.
  • Collaborate with internal talent, delivery, and onboarding teams to operationalize deals.
  • Define SLAs, engagement models, pricing structures (hourly, monthly retainer, FTE), and

reporting frameworks.

Market_ Intelligence & Capability Building_

  • Track MSP-led vendor opportunities across verticals and regions (US SLED, UK public sector, EU buyers).
  • Guide the development of industry-specific SaaS offerings (e.g., Salesforce Pods, AI/ML

squads, Engineering Cells).

  • Lead internal capability mapping, skill alignment, and resource planning.

Key Requirements

  • 12+ years in IT services, outsourcing, or talent solutions; with 5+ years in GCC, managed

services, or vendor onboarding.

  • Deep experience working with or within MSP environments (e.g., Allegis, Pontoon, TAPFIN, Magnit) or VMS platforms (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline).
  • Experience leading or selling dedicated teams or TaaS models to clients in North America, Europe, or APAC.
  • Proven record of vendor registration, onboarding, and relationship expansion within procurement-led ecosystems.
  • Understanding of workforce compliance, security documentation (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001), and insurance requirements common in vendor onboarding.
  • Excellent communication, commercial negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong understanding of talent mapping, skill taxonomy, and scaling global delivery teams.
