Job Title: Remote Practice Manager – Behavioral Health (Part-Time to Start)

Compensation: $25–$35/hour depending on experience

Magnolia Psychiatric Services PLLC is a virtual psychiatric practice providing medication management for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, OCD, and mood disorders. The practice focuses on high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care delivered via telehealth.

We are seeking an organized, proactive Practice Manager who can oversee administrative and operational functions of the practice so the clinician can focus on patient care.

Position Overview

The Practice Manager will serve as the operational backbone of the practice, managing day-to-day administrative workflows, patient communications, scheduling logistics, and coordination with insurance platforms and vendors.

This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, technologically comfortable, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for patients
  • Manage incoming emails and communication across platforms
  • Coordinate scheduling and appointment logistics
  • Communicate with insurance platforms and vendors as needed
  • Assist with insurance and billing inquiries
  • Coordinate prior authorizations and documentation requests
  • Monitor and organize administrative inboxes
  • Support operational workflow improvements and practice systems
  • Assist with basic reporting and practice organization

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in healthcare administration, behavioral health, or medical practice management
  • Familiarity with telehealth or virtual medical practices
  • Comfortable communicating with patients in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple platforms and digital tools
  • Self-starter who can anticipate needs and solve problems independently

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with behavioral health practices
  • Familiarity with insurance billing workflows
  • Experience coordinating prior authorizations
  • Experience supporting physicians or nurse practitioners

Pay: From $36,000.00 per year
