Lead operations. Empower teams. Improve access to care. Meritus Health is seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our outpatient practices. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on management to ensure high-quality care, efficient workflows, and exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach clinical and administrative staff to meet performance and quality standards
  • Evaluate workflows and implement process improvements to enhance access and affordability
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing, budget management, and reimbursement processes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Support credentialing, licensure, and documentation for providers
  • Foster communication across departments, referring practices, and leadership
  • Prepare reports and metrics to monitor operational performance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years in healthcare operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong background in personnel management, finance, and customer service
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, marketing, and basic P&L principles
  • Maryland licensure as required by field of study
