Work Schedule: Nights with Rotation to Days Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Hours: 6:30pm-7:30am with possible rotation to 8am-9pm. Rotating weekend and holidays.
Summary:
Provides cardiopulmonary respiratory therapy to the inpatient and outpatient populations as ordered by a physician, according to established standards and practices.
Mount St. Mary's Hospital consists of multiple locations and associate may be assigned as needed
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION-
Either: (1) Associates Degree with Certification in Respiratory Therapy or (2) Graduated from High School or equivalent, and has completed an approved one (1) year certificate program in Respiratory Therapy Technology or a Respiratory program determined by the Department to be equivalent and at least five (5) years of experience required

Licensed New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician require, New York State Respiratory Therapist license preferred

BLS within (2) two months of employment
EXPERIENCE-
Three (3) months of experience as a license eligible Respiratory Therapy Technician preferred

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
