Pre-K Lead Teacher

We are seeking individuals that are dependable, caring and team oriented for our Pre-K Program. Someone who encourages children to work independently, cooperatively and with respect for peers. Develops a warm supportive relationship with each child and provide a positive model for child.

Hours: 7:50 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and NYS Certification either Early Childhood Education Birth through Grade 2 or Nursery to Grade 6
• Three (3) years of experience working with early childhood-aged children in a group setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and teamwork spirit.

Job Description:

• Implement Teaching Strategies curriculum to provide positive learning experiences for children
• Supervise Assistant teacher, teacher aide and volunteers/interns
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and staff development trainings
• Assess the developmental needs of the children and plan activities to meet their individual needs
• Observe, document and record children progress in Teaching Strategies
• Oher tasks as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $56,070.00 - $68,652.00 per year
