Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to engage with children in a meaningful way. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing an age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education while accommodating diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support child welfare and development.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress in literacy, math, and other developmental areas.
  • Collaborate with special education professionals for early intervention strategies when necessary.
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning for preschool-aged children.
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood development theories.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Experience with standardized testing and tutoring is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including Montessori approaches if applicable.
