We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including curriculum development best practices.
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports individual learning styles.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that enhance literacy education, physical education, and social-emotional growth.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations, assessments, and ongoing documentation to tailor instruction effectively.
- Collaborate with families to communicate student progress, address concerns, and foster strong partnerships supporting child welfare.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure a safe, organized space conducive to active learning and care.
- Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs within the classroom.
Skills
- Experience in childhood development principles with a focus on preschool experience and classroom management.
- Proficiency in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, physical education, and childcare.
- Strong background working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, with an understanding of behavior management strategies.
- Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention programs, and other child-centered educational philosophies.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, families, staff, and community partners effectively.
- Ability to expand on engaging lessons that incorporate tutoring techniques and adjustments when needed.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
