Pre-K Lead Teacher

Hesston Intergenerational Child Development Center is looking for a qualified Pre-K Lead Teacher. This position is ideal for someone who is energetic, fun, enjoys children, and can care for and nurture children.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age appropriate lesson plans
• Manage classroom behavior and positive discipline techniques
• Communicate with parents/caregivers
• Serve Meals
• Clean up after meals and activities
• Maintain cleanliness of the classroom
• Build and maintain relationships with the children and families
• Maintain and follow KDHE licensing requirements
• Attend staff meetings and training
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with preschool children
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Completed the 18-hour Foundations class
• CPR/First Aid course
• Must be 18 years old and pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
