Pre-K Music Teacher (Part-Time)

Metro Music Makers is seeking an energetic, engaging, and child-centered Pre-K Music Teacher to bring joyful music experiences to preschoolers ages 2–4. This role is perfect for someone who loves early childhood education, thrives in front of a group, and wants to make a real impact through music—no formal instrument proficiency required!

About the Role

Our Pre-K Music Teachers lead 30-minute circle-time classes at partner preschools throughout North Fulton (including the Chastain area, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, and surrounding communities). You’ll guide young learners through singing, movement, rhythm play, imaginative musical stories, and confidence-building activities using our tried-and-true curriculum.

Instrument skills such as ukulele or guitar are a bonus but not required. What matters most is your ability to engage, animate, and delight a room of little ones.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 2–4
• Strong group management and circle-time engagement skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to multiple preschool locations
• Punctuality, professionalism, and excellent communication
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

• Ability to play ukulele or guitar
• Background in music, drama, dance, or early childhood education

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time hours during morning and early afternoon preschool blocks
• Starting rate: $35 per 30-minute class
